There are many hotels, motels, B&Bs and a few campsitesin the area. Please visit the Fort Collins Tourism website (it has an extensive list and on-line booking) or your favorite travel website.
Travel
Denver International Airport (DEN) (70 miles away) is the primary airport serving the Fort Collins area. It is serviced by all the major airlines.
Cheyenne Airport (CYS) is closer (45 miles away), but has fewer direct flights.
Fort Collins/Loveland Airport (FNL) is serviced only by Allegiant Air.
Transportation to Fort Collins from Denver Airport
All major rental car agencies are present at Denver Airport. You may also take a shuttle bus to Fort Collins. Shamrock Airport Express runs a regular service and has door-to-door drop-off.
Transportation within and around Fort Collins
Fort Collins has over 50 miles of bike paths and a public bus system. However, getting to the race start or swimmer pick-up area will require a car. None of the hotels, motels or B&Bs in the area is walking distance to the pick-up area for swimmers.
