Saturday, August 14 (10K Swimmers & Paddlers only):

Checkin: 5pm
Dinner: 6pm (ALL 10K swimmers and paddlers must be checked in by 6pm!)
Orientation: 6:30pm

Sunday, August 15 (Everyone)

5:00 Parking opens at Hughes Stadium
5:45 2.4M and 1M Swimmers load busses.
10K Paddlers arrive at South Bay (put in)
Other Paddlers arrive at Satanka Bay (put in)
6:00 Last bus leaves for 2.4M and 1M races
6:15 Paddler Meeting
6:30 All 2.4M and 1M swimmers checked in Satanka Bay, All paddlers in the water
6:45 Final Swimmer Meeting for 2.4M and 1M races
7:00 Start for 10K, 2.4M and 1M races
7:00 First bus leaves from Hughes Stadium for the kids races (1000yd and 250yd)
8:00 Last bus leaves for the kids races (1000yd and 250yd)
9:00 Start for the 1000yd and 250yd.
10:00-12:30 Shuttles between Finish, Hughes Stadium, and the South end (for paddlers)
1:00pm Gate locked at Hughes Stadium, parking closed. ALL cars must be out of parking lot

Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins, Colorado. See here for a map of the town and course.

All races finish at Satanka Cove. All races but the 10K also start at Satanka Cove. The 10K race will start at South Bay (south end of Horsetooth Reservoir).

Spectators/Parking

Please read the parking restrictions on maps page. Briefly, there is NO parking at the north end of the lake. Spectators are welcome to drive to the start of the 10K race (South Bay), but should not park there. If you do park there after the race start and do not buy a park pass, you will get ticketed.

Parking for all races is at Hughes stadium. Shuttle busses will take you to/from the north end. Please see the maps page for directions.

Awards

10K

Finisher certificates will be given to all finishers.

1st-3rd Male and Female will receive a Trophy

A traveling trophy, The Turner Cup, is awarded to the first man and first woman finisher.

Age Group, 1M and 2.4M

1st-3rd Male and Female in each race will receive a Medal

4th-12th Male and Female in each race will receive a Ribbon

1st-3rd Relay Teams, each individual will receive a Medal

Sponsorships/Pledges and Donations

This race is a fund raiser for Team Fort Collins, a not-for-profit organization for preventing drug and alcohol abuse within the confines of the Poudre School District. A portion of the registration fee is a donation to Team Fort Collins. Additionally, we encourage swimmer sponsorships. Here is the pledge sheet for collecting donations.
