Dinner/Safety Meeting Information

Pre-Race Meeting/Dinner - 10K Swimmers!

There will be a MANDATORY pre-race dinner/safety meeting on the evening of Saturday August 14 at 5pm for 10K swimmers and 10K paddlers. The goal of this meeting is the following:

Sign-in/Complete registration
Go over race rules
Review safety procedures/regulations
Have swimmers and paddlers meet
Receive caps/T-shirts/goody bag
Meet other swimmers from across the country
Have fun and get psyched up for the swim

Dinner: 6pm (ALL swimmers and paddlers must be checked in before 6pm!)

You will be asked to sign the required waiver forms (I know, I know you already did this, but we need the hard copy signed in our presence.) You will get your goodie bag and have dinner with your paddler (and guests if you signed them up). Then a fun and serious evening will start. The most important phase will be the detailed instructions on where to report in the morning and all the safety regulations.

Directions

Directions assume you are coming from I-25 either Northbound from Denver or Southbound from Cheyenne. Exit I-25 at the Mulberry/HW 14 exit. Turn west (towards the mountains) onto Mulberry. Continue driving west for about 5 miles. At the College Ave (Hwy 287) stop light, turn left (south). One block south, turn right onto Murtle St.. The church is on the Northwest corner of Myrtle St. and College Ave .
