The Pre-Race Safety Meeting/Dinner is being held at First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins. The address, date and time are below:
At the checkin, you must show your USMS Registration card, or if you have paid the one-day event fee. You will be asked to sign the required waiver forms (I know, I know you already did this, but we need the hard copy signed in our presence.) You will get your goodie bag and have dinner with your paddler (and guests if you signed up for them). Then a fun and serious evening will start. The most important phase will be the detailed instructions on where to report in the morning and all the safety regulations.
Directions assume you are coming from I-25 either Northbound from Denver or Southbound from Cheyenne. Exit I-25 at the Prospect Avenue exit. Turn west (towards the mountains) onto Prospect. Continue driving west for about 3.5 miles. You will pass Lemay Avenue and go 4 blocks further west. Then turn right (north) on to Stover. Drive 4 blocks north and turn into the parking lot and enter the south door of the church.
